Cold brew concentrate dilution calculator

Cold brew is often made as a strong concentrate, then diluted in the glass. Enter how much concentrate you pour, how much water or milk you add, and the ratio you brewed at.

The result is the ratio the glass drinks like, so you can compare it with a regular cold brew of 1:10 to 1:16.

How it works

Drinks like 1 : (brew ratio × (1 + added ÷ concentrate)).

A 1:6 concentrate mixed half and half with water drinks like 1:12. The calculation treats the concentrate as if it held all of its brew water. The grounds keep some of that water back, so the real glass is slightly stronger than the estimate.

Ice melts as you drink, so a glass over lots of ice can start a little stronger.
